08/17/2010: "It Was Probably The Mexican Food!"
At least that's what I'm telling myself. I'm 2 pounds heavier today. I need to start weighing myself just once a week because I go up and down all week. We were celebrating some wonderful news but I'm sworn to secrecy, and I ordered super nachos and ate the whole plate. They aren't a dish you can take home in a doggie bag because they don't re-heat very well, so I felt obligated to clean my plate.
I also bought a loaf of the seeded sourdough because I missed it so much. If I make it to the store today I'd better pick up another loaf of the Ezekial bread and freeze the rest of the other.
I was sitting at my desk last week and saw a guy stop at the end of my driveway in a red car with a camera and he started taking pictures of my house. As soon as he saw me come out the door he started driving away until I yelled at him, "why are you taking pictures of my house?" He stopped and told me the mortgage company asked him to do it. I'm sure it was because I told them I was going to put it up for sale last month. I went back into the house and then the guy came back and gave me a piece of paper with the phone number of the Homeowner's Assistance Program. I called them this morning and told them I wasn't going to sell my home and I started sending in bigger payments to start covering what I owe them. Maybe now they will stop calling me every day without leaving a message. If they can't leave a message when they call, I'm not calling them back.
My mama bully just went out of heat. It wasn't easy keeping the boys away from her and her away from them. She was constantly putting her butt in their faces. Now I'll probably have to wait until next summer to breed her again because if I do on the next heat I'll be in the busiest time of the year for my work. Maybe the economy will pick up and more people will be able to afford them next year, although I didn't try very hard to sell them.
Gotta get to work before the heat drives me back home, so "Let's All Dance", every day!
