05/10/2010: "Mother's Day!"
The only reason this Mother's Day wasn't absolutly perfect is because my youngest son wasn't here. I emailed him right before going to bed and asked if he had found another mother to spend the day with & to remind him how much I loved him, hoping to hear from him soon. I'm sure the reason is because I refuse to talk about religion with him. Doesn't he realize that it's not a very Christian thing to do, making a mother have to worry about one of her children especially on Mother's Day? It also worries me if he's being told not to stay in touch with his family by someone in whatever church he's involved in right now. The last I heard he was in a non-denominational church. It's still wrong to worry a mother.
My oldest daughter's family also wasn't here because they had other commitments but I at least get to see them most everyday with them living nearby. My step-son and his wife's family were here and his sister and her family, making it a great Mother's Day, so other than my son's absence it was a beautiful sunny day. We even took all 8 bullies for a walk in the neighbor-hood.
One of the pups went to my step-daughter's family to another state last night. I tried to convince them to take one of the other boys who hasn't had any health problems but they only had eyes for him.
Everyone loved my youngest daughter's new boyfriend, getting the family's approval. He is pretty great as long as it's not too good to be true, she should stop stressing about that part of her life.
I still feel her health problems are a direct result from stress. She told me she thinks there's a tumor somewhere in her stomach area and I immediately said for her to stop thinking that way. She can't afford health insurance so her mind probably won't stop having those fears unless she has a test showing her nothing's causing the pain.
I still haven't tried to convince them to start the day off with an hour or two of dancing. Get up on your feet and "Let's All Dance!"
