05/06/2010: "I Feel The Need To Reacess The Situation!"
The scale hasn't moved for over a week. I've had to think about why I've given in to the temptation of a tenderloin. I shouldn't have gone into the store after we finished at the vet's, but I was starving. Maybe eating only one a week won't stop the weight loss. I think the body needs that shot of protein now and then. At least that's my excuse for giving in.
My daughter is having health problems and it worries me what the cause is. Have I done anything that might have triggered it? Maybe I've been so into getting the accounts caught up so we can direct our attention on other things, that I haven't heard her call for help. She's been stressed out about not being able to get the house organized and everything put away, and all I've done is think about the help I need. I'm going to suggest she give up the mowing and take care of the house instead. Her boyfriend can do the mowing then I won't be so anal about the weedeating by doing it myself. For example, I put the weedeater in my grandson's hands last night then noticed him not being careful around the plants. I should have warned him about going so fast instead of expecting him to do it the way I would. I'm not a very good boss because I expect things done a certain way but I fail to communicate how I prefer it done. I just expect everyone to know how to do it right.
As I was drifting off to sleep I remembered that I once again didn't thank them for all they did and kissed them goodnight. It's not something I think about because I don't expect them to thank me for anything. I know they appreciate what I do for them but I don't expect them to thank me. I think that's probably a flaw in the way I think, I need to communicate better. My silence could be mistaken for not caring and that's the furthest thing in my mind. Nothing's more important than the happiness of all my children. Period.
The sun is shining so it's time for me to get ready for work. "Let's All Dance," instead.
