03/07/2010: "Taking The Day Off!"

Tonight is Oscar night and today is the first Whidbey Western Games at the fair grounds for the season.
I'm going to take all the pups there for an outing and to get them used to rides in the car. I just haven't decided if I'm going to take their mother or not. I imagine she'll get very worried if I leave her home, but I doubt that she'll fit into the kennel with them. If they don't mind the ride I'll take them to the store tomorrow because there are many there that expect me to, since I usually do with my litters. It was a lot easier last year when I only had one to take. I just hope it doesn't rain before I get there. I also promised 2 of my accounts that I'd come by with them today.
I don't know what to think about my brother who missed my birthday this year. The last I heard from him was when he sent me an email about only supporting U.S. gas stations. I replied, asking him what was going on in his life but he hasn't responded. That was over a month ago. I did see my niece a few weeks ago but all she would say is he's going to his meetings and still thinks there's some way to save his house. I think he must have had a problem with the rules I told him he'd have to abide by if he moved here. I'm hoping I'm wrong but he's never missed my birthday before. Sometimes it was a day or two late but never this long. He knows his is coming up so I'm sure he has thought about mine. Before the last email he wrote, "thanks for the support, I'll call soon. luv u, m." Was he really thanking me? I also told him that every morning I'd be saying, "Let's All Dance". People think I'm nuts but if I can convince just my own family, then I'll die a happy woman. It's the answer to most of our health problems. If I didn't do it every day I'd never be able to keep on doing this hard labor.
