American Conspiracy's

Jessie Ventura is on the Today Show talking about his new book. At least I feel validated about my views of the Bush Administration. Also a whistle blower who is talking about how phony the leaders of the Church of Scientology are. Again, I feel validated on my views of the church, any church.
Also in the news is our state is proposing to raise the cigarette tax by another dollar, and people are ticked off who smoke. So how about quitting?

Taking The Day Off!

Tonight is Oscar night and today is the first Whidbey Western Games at the fair grounds for the season.
I'm going to take all the pups there for an outing and to get them used to rides in the car. I just haven't decided if I'm going to take their mother or not. I imagine she'll get very worried if I leave her home, but I doubt that she'll fit into the kennel with them. If they don't mind the ride I'll take them to the store tomorrow because there are many there that expect me to, since I usually do with my litters. It was a lot easier last year when I only had one to take. I just hope it doesn't rain before I get there. I also promised 2 of my accounts that I'd come by with them today.
I don't know what to think about my brother who missed my birthday this year. The last I heard from him was when he sent me an email about only supporting U.S. gas stations. I replied, asking him what was going on in his life but he hasn't responded. That was over a month ago. I did see my niece a few weeks ago but all she would say is he's going to his meetings and still thinks there's some way to save his house. I think he must have had a problem with the rules I told him he'd have to abide by if he moved her. I'm hoping I'm wrong but he's never missed my birthday before. Sometimes it was a day or two late but never this long. He knows his is coming up so I'm sure he has thought about mine. Before the last email he wrote, "thanks for the support, I'll call soon. luv u, m." Was he really thanking me?

Down A Pound, Whoopee!

I'm so tired of getting on the scale and not seeing any good results. It's getting very depressing. Now I see why Oprah has given up and just accepts the fact that she'll never get back to her size 8's. She has even cleaned out her closets of all her clothes that she'll never fit into again and is selling them on Ebay. I refuse to get rid of my small clothes and am determined to get into them some day. They are only about 10 years out of date so maybe they will be back in style by the time I get into them.
This time it was those damn girlscouts standing outside my bank with that look in their eyes, "please buy my cookies?" So of course I had to contribute to the cause, "be-cause" I have no will power. I only cheat a little bit most every day but I'm not licked yet. It's something I'll conquer before I die.
My wonderful neighbor is ready to take walks every day with the puppies as soon as they get their shots. I asked her to help me name the last boy. I had decided to give her the pup if she'll agree to foster the one my daughter wants but can't have right now with her present living arrangements. I hope she'll agree, then I won't have to sell any to some stranger and they will be right across the street. I haven't told her yet because I haven't found the right words that will make it happen. She does so much for everyone and never expects anything in return but I really want her to have one of my babies. When you look at their adorable faces I can't see how anyone could resist. She's just been a godsend and I truly think of her as an angel who's been sent to me to help where ever she can. She hasn't started dancing with me yet but I hope to get her up earlier in the mornings as soon as the pups are able to stand on the slippery floors. Then I'll be saying, "Let's All Dance"!
