01/03/2011: "Happy New Year!"

Well I made it through another year of being above ground.
I've been sitting in limbo again, not knowing what my future will bring especially about my home. I have to fax the law firm the last bank statements and profit and loss for 2010, but I'm sure it probably won't be the last fax before all this is through. I'm not able to make last month and this month's mortgage payment so I guess that explains why they keep sending a guy our here to hang their number on our door-knob with a note to get in touch with them and then he takes pictures of my house. I hope they have mercy on me this time and lower the payment and the interest rate so I can continue living here.
I'm waiting for my step-daughter and her family to get here to say good-bye before they head back home to Idaho. They stayed in the apartment at the community pool. She took her sister to the navy base and treated her to new outfits for her and the baby. I stayed home and got the dinner ready that she bought, tenderloins and rib steaks and all the stuff for twice baked potatoes and salad. She is so thoughtful and loves her sister very much. She is also diving into the preparations for the baby shower so I'm sure it's going to be way better than I would have been able to give her. I hope the money she spends while she is visiting doesn't add more debt to a credit card because that would make me feel so bad letting her do it. She's very bull-headed and doesn't really care about my protests of her spending so much money. My credit may be very bad because of the bankruptsy but at least I'm not in debt anymore, except for the house. Credit is so over-rated. Instead of getting further in debt, I'd rather be spreading the word of all the health benefits we'd all get if we'd just get off our butt's and "Let's All Dance."
