Brrrrr, Baby It's Cold Outside!
I'm waiting for the ground to become un-frozen so I can get to work. It's hard raking frozen ground. My son put the snow blade on my mower so I'm pretty sure we won't have any more snow this year. Oh well, better safe than sorry.
Baby daddy asked me yesterday what was the origen of "Nip It In The Bud." I said I didn't know but we should Google It. I did and it refers to stopping something early that could escalate out of control. Barney Fife used to say it also, more often referring child raising, "Nip It, Nip It, Nip It,"
I've been thinking a lot lately about other saying's, specifically, Think Nothing Of It," "No Thanks Necessary," "Not A Problem, and I'm sure there are many more on this subject, ever since I told my youngest daughter she doesn't need to thank me everytime I do something for her. I told her I do things for her because I love her and there's no need to thank me, ever. It really bothered her after I said that because she said it was the only way she could let me know how much she appreciates all I do. She also said there are other things I do that really annoy her, like making her feel I treat her like a baby, not being able to do anything right without my input. I told her she is my baby but I didn't realize that's how she felt since her only way to react is to not talk all day or only answering in one word sentences when spoken to. She also gets upset with me when I ask her to repeat what she says because I didn't hear her. She talks so quietly but I don't think my hearing is bad. I'd like her to at least look at me when she talks so I can read her lips if I can't hear her.
She say's it's her hormones that are making her so moody all the time. I just don't think it's good for the baby for her to be moody about anything I do, I just want her to call me on it right away instead of brooding about it. I just want her to join me and "Let's All Dance."
