06/10/2009: ""Didn't I Hear You Cry This Morning?""
I pinned down my neighbor, as to a day when we get together. Before, I wouldn't be so forceful, but I feel it's time for me to stop making excuses. The flyers are printed and the day and time are set. I decided to trade with our community club treasurer who made the flyers for me. I told her I'd take one of her 3 days of cleaning the pool in trade for the 10 flyers she made for me. It seems like I made a bad trade but she deserves a little relief for all she is doing for the community. She has no idea what being a board member entails. The more you do the more they lay on you. Most board members leave with a bad taste in their mouth for the way they were treated by their neighbors.
I'm doing a test-drive before starting the classes at the Grange, seeking my neighbors honest opinion on whether this is a needed service. I also want to know if they felt offended by my flopping boobs. I've had such a struggle with the thought that I might have to put on a bra. Everytime I think a bra is in the forecast I get busy doing something else. My girls love being free. I've had a bra on twice since I burned mine in the 60's. Once was at my oldest daughters wedding, (she requested it) but I still love her anyway, the other time was when my grandmother sent me all her old ones. after the birth of my youngest daughter. She told me I could stuff them with rags to soak up my lactating faucets. Whoopie! Come On everybody and Let's All Dance.
