10/18/2010: ""Sittin' in Limbo""
I can hardly believe how long it's been since I've written in my blog. I've been waiting for the ultra sound that will tell us what sex the baby is, and it's been such a busy month and a half that I just haven't had much to say. I forgot all about my step-daughter's birthday in September until I turned the calendar to October and remembered her brother's birthday was that month but had to go to some old calendars for the date. While flipping through the pages, there she was. I hadn't transfered the important dates from last year's calendar so I spaced it out. I hope she wasn't offended but I haven't heard from her since they were here for her sister's birthday in June.
I haven't even forwarded any email's. I'm sure some of my contacts are happy about that, while others expect me to spread their views. The problem I have is that I don't agree with some of their choices of who should run this country, what laws they back or not, or their religious beliefs. I don't feel any ill-will toward them, they can have that belief just don't expect me to change my mind about it.
Beaver Cleaver is on the Today Show reminicing about Barbra Billingsly who died over the weekend at age 94. She didn't have any wrinkles in her face on the latest photograph of her while the Beav's face had plenty. Tony Dow was also wrinkle free and he's the same age as me, my face looks like a roadmap.
My grand-daughter wants to learn how to give Botox injections and thinks it will be a good career choice, but says she'll still cut the family's hair.
Well, I'd better get into the shower and get on the road for more mowing. We only had a few weeks when the grass slowed down and now I can hardly keep up with it. It's as fast as the spring growing season. It's still foggy out but "they" say it will be sunny today and in the 50's. "Let's All Dance first."
