Yikes! Back To 145 Pounds.

I just can't believe it. I've gained 10 pounds since November 4th. Okay everybody, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Valentine's Day are behind us, and we'll be done celebrating the February birthdays tomorrow, so there's no excuse left not to get a grip on it all. It really didn't matter what I said about not wanting anymore candy for gifts for Valentines Day. I was told "It's dark chocolate and good for you." I still managed to finish them off by last night. I couldn't eat them fast enough to get them out of my sight. Now I can concentrate on getting back on track.
The puppies will be walking within a week and my neighbor seems ready to dance with us at least once a week, so I'll have company during my morning dance. I can't wait for them to start walking. They are getting way too cute. Having my neighbor's help with taking care of them, has really been much appreciated. I've been able to work and do my errands without worrying about them while I'm gone. It's also great having a new friend to share this experience with and having someone to talk to besides bulldogs. I'm ready, Let's All Dance!

Three Boys And One Girl.

She decided she wanted her vet to do it instead of a stranger. Penny was up all night on the 3rd, sitting next to me. I woke up again when she started nesting in her birthing box and then went outside for about 15 minutes, digging a den under the deck. I called the vet at 6am and gave him the symptoms, he said bring her in at 8. I called my neighbor who is as excited about the birth as I am. She said she would come over and sit with me while we waited for the clinic to open. She is becoming a very welcomed friend. I can't believe we have lived across the street from each other for 25 years and this is the first time we've taken the time to get to know each other. I always took great care in keeping neighbors at a distance so they wouldn't find out what was going on here.
I'm just so thankful all that is behind me now, although if it was ever legalized I'd jump at the chance to be able to work at home. I have a hard time leaving my bullies all day while I'm working.
Penny wasn't due until Sunday and I was feeling guilty about all involved having to miss church.
My neighbor makes herself available to babysit while I run errands. She has made my life so much easier than having to do it alone. Since the weather is still very spring-like, the grass just keeps growing and if I don't keep up with it now, I'll be very behind in a few weeks.
I'm also hoping I can talk her into dancing with me every day, as an experiment. She would be the perfect example of how dancing can improve your life. I can't wait to dance with the babies. Let's All Dance!

Countdown To The Delivery!

I'm waiting for word from the Breeder if I should do the delivery here or on the mainland. She's due sometime this weekend but my vet won't be around and his partner is someone I have a problem with. She just sends off a vibe of being someone I shouldn't allow to do a c-section and spaying on my bully. We counted at least 4 maybe 5 pups in yesterday's x-ray and I don't want any not to make it. I'm so excited for their arrival. I plan on getting them all dancing as soon as they can walk. "Let's All Dance" with them!
